Recycling Electronic Waste

By Frederick Carle on April 9th, 2008

Today almost everyone has a cellphone. Not only that, but most people like to change their cellphones for newer ones even after a few months. If you add PDA and others small electronic devices that people carry these days to all those cellphones, you can imagine the amount of unused devices that will sooner or later be sent to waste fields.

It appears that the US Postal Service is now piloting a program at over 1500 locations offering free e-waste recycling. We all know that e-waste recycling isn’t new but it’s not always easy to find. Putting these recycling boxes at a place where people go regularly might bring consumers to recycle their e-waste.
