		<description>I agree with Brian&#039;s post above/below as I don&#039;t think that people will take the time to recycle or separate recyclable items unless you make it as easy as possible. The harder or more difficult it is to do, the less effort people will put into it. The municipality that I live in has a neat program where they put recycle containers at various points throughout the city.  These containers will take most any kind of recyclables like plastic, paper, or glass.  When the city picks the containers up, they do the sorting for you.  It really doesn&#039;t get much easier than that.</description>

But I don&#039;t really have any confidence that people will EVER really conscientiously separate their recycling in this kind of public receptacle.  It&#039;s always going to be up to us and the government to apply proper technologies to separate out the plastic from the metal, the garbage from the re-usable.</description>
