MTV VMA: green this award show

September 7th 2008. The MTV Video Music Awards was featuring a bunch of great artists such as Pink, Kid Rock, Paramore and T-Pain, once again proving to be a big hit for the music industry and bringing in many celebrities.

What we really liked here at talkgreen was the eco-friendly side of some artists and more precisely Paramore and T-Pain who came to the party in Smarts unlike Tokio Hotel who got there in a monster truck.

I’m coming to the VMAs. Everybody is doing the same thing, Pain explained. I need to get my differ-rench-ee-ality on. I got to make sure I come correct. Correct!

I gotta find something that’s really gonna have me looking correct, he continued. Everybody is pulling up in the same kinda car. I figure, why not come to my spot?

Let’s just say T-Pain’s got a “Pimped out Ride”. Burning orange paint with matching rims. That’s how you drive cool the eco-friendly way.

Thumbs up for T-Pain and Paramore.

    I was looking forward to watching the VMA awards tonight, and my evening was quickly ruined when the host, Richard Bland (or whatever his name is) proceded to give his political opinion!! All I can do to show my disgust of this is to change the channel. So thanks to Mr Bland for that! I also want to say that I am originally from England and have been an American citizen for years. If he wants to give his political opinion, tell him to get a green card or become a citizen. If not, tell him to keep his opinions to himself!

    It's a good thing to see some artist who are helpful to the environment, esp. bands like Paramore, Tokio Hotel and T-Pain. It's really a thumb's up for them!

    The show was better this year and although I can’t stand the Pussycat Dolls the highlight was seeing the Jabbowockeez semi-perform during their 2 1/2 minutes of fame. I wished they could have done more because if I never see Nicole Serwhatsherface it will be too soon! Sandman’s song was hella funny!! I had to rewind that one on tivo! Jhud looked like she had the corsett from hell on.. like if they unravelled that heffa at the end of the night she would have been confused for the Pilsbury dough Girl with poppin freshness!
