Though many people say that converting a regular bathroom to a green bathroom can be expensive, I believe this is worth your time and money. Each green product or system is highly cost efficient which can give a great contribution for your cost-cutting program at home or even in your office.

I am the minister of a small ministry in Covington Georgia that does charity work with the homeless, elderly and the very ill, By winter we hope to have a shelter to get the people out of the cold before it gets to bad, I have been looking into the computer recycling and repairing business to help us support our shelter and school, I am sure I can make all this work once I get it started but I will need start up money as do most. It is easy for me to teach others to build and repair them. If I can get working or non-working computers donated from a few companies, I am blessed with very good computer skills and have no problem building or repairing them. A lot of the older computers will still make great work-stations for phone rooms and other companies that work off a main frames or server setup, I have been thinking if I could get lined up to take in some computers, I would not only be able to furnish a shelter but, I could also teach those who are willing to learn and want something from life more than just a bed and a meal, We hope to be able to help those who want to be helped. To WORK gives HOPE to normal people.
With HOPE AND HELP we will give them there FAITH BACK (yes I know that this is a lot to bite off but someone needs too, might as well be me) when those people come thru those doors looking for very minimal help I want to offer them a PLAN to help them get there lives back, At one time I was homeless MY SELF for about 8 months and I tell you its is a trap (the longer you are out there the harder it is to get back) I will write a booklet to explain to people that are homeless why it is so hard and it will also be for the people that are not homeless to help them understand why it is so (very) hard to get back up, When they keep get knocked back down and there are very simple reasons for this and because of my experience I know what they are. And if people understood some of the reasons that keep them down, I feel they would be a little more willing to help them back up, well I will right the booklet for them to read I cant change the world in a day, but I will try my best. There are quite a few skills I know we can teach anyone, male or female a trade of some kind that is do able for him or her if they are able to work and have the want to work attitude that is a fact.
The computer skills are just the beginning for us to be able to teach we also want to be able to take in abused women and children when we are able so we have a VISION that just keeps seeing god moving in peoples lives we have PLANS ON TOP OF PLANS ON TOP OF PLANS for men and women too, so that means we will also be able to teach them things like child care, kitchen work, hotel motel skills, management, and the list goes on an on. Once we have some reliable people at the shelter that people trust we will be able to have a day care, meals on wheels, elderly and very ill sitters and much more. I believe in God and my faith is just bubbling over right now its just running out on the floor in God and I still have faith in people also given a chance most of the time people will do the right thing, PRAISE GOD. After computers then there will be software skills and so much more it is endless if we try.
I know in this biz my church is in need of computers, cell phones, Ink cartridges, monitors, food clothing, sleeping bags, tents and common need like tooth brushes tooth paste razors and little things. We might be able to afford but even more important I need the info on the recycling deal I really think it might work to help the less fortunate and the sales of the reworked computers would for sure help keep the doors open on the shelter and the food coming to those who need it, Anyway I am not good at asking for things but if you can help me with the info I need it would be a blessing in many ways, I am also attaching my inc form and please let me know if you need anything else thank You and God bless you all. There is a computer recycler called Mark / R Processors on St mountain, Lithonia rd somewhere over there I had a friend work there a few years back and they have computer to dispose of literally. The guys name is DAN if I were to get lucky and he was willing to back me with some computers working or not, Praise God Just a thought but he is still there. LOL,
One other thing as a rule for people who are on drugs or just don’t want to get there life back after 7 days we will help them get to one of the down town shelters, that will suit them a little better, If they have a drug or booze problem we will do our best to get them to the proper programs to get them the help they need, I have never looked at people with problems as trough a ways and I never will. I also have available thru friends and direct programs on the Internet, learning software that will work for children from about 8 to their teens. It will work great for teaching older people math, reading, and a lot more I will use the programs the best way possible for adults and I will find away to distribute to as many children as possible.
